Susan Sarandon sees no point in remaking cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show - because the original was perfect.
Bosses at MTV announced earlier this year their plans to remake the 1975 movie, which launched Sarandon's film career.
But the star isn't convinced the original's success can be replicated.
She says, "I don't quite understand what they would do to make it more charming or interesting. Certainly people could sing better than I could - that could be something that could change.
"But part of the charm of it, I thought, was that it was done sort of low-budget. So unless it's done huge and very different I don't know the point of remaking it."
