Bosses at German soft toy company Steiff are to launch a teddy bear modelled on legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Only 2,500 models of the stuffed animal, which dons Lagerfeld's signature white collared shirt and jet black tie look, will be made available in stores - priced at a whopping $1,450 (GBP828.57) each.
The teddy, designed with Lagerfeld's blessing, stands at 15 inches tall (38.1 centimetres) and is covered in soft alpaca wool. The cuddly toy will also come with accessories including sunglasses, jeans and a belt buckle bearing the star's initials.
And Lagerfeld is delighted with the final product.
He says, "I really love animals, particularly when they are stuffed with cotton or polyester. That way you can guarantee that they won't bite, won't claw, won't smell bad and make your things dirty!"
The bear will go on sale via Steiff's website and in selected stores from 15 September.
