David Thewlis is relieved he didn't share many scenes with his Basic Instinct 2 co-star Sharon Stone - because he claims she was a "nightmare" on set.
The British actor appeared briefly onscreen with Stone in the 2006 sequel to the 1992 drama - but insists he is glad he didn't have a great deal of interaction with the 50-year-old.
He says of the film, "It was a pile of s**t, wasn't it?
"I wanted to get a job in the can before my daughter was born. It was actually very pleasant for me. I didn't have much to do with Sharon Stone.
"And thank God because I heard she was a f**king nightmare."
