Newly single Anne Hathaway put her love woes behind her on Monday as she took part in a karaoke session with friends and family at a New Jersey restaurant.

The Get Smart star - who split from Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri last month - paid a visit to the Martini Beach eatery in Cape May, where she sang and danced around with pals before taking to the mic to sing Journey's Don't Stop Believing.

She later returned to the stage to give a rendition of Scottish singer K.T. Tunstall's girl power hit Suddenly I See - a track which also featured in Hathaway's movie The Devil Wears Prada.

Karaoke host Terry O'Brien tells People.com, "She was the life and soul of the party."

But the 25-year-old star also had a warning for O'Brien, joking, "Don't put this on (video sharing website) YouTube!"

Follieri is currently in jail after he was arrested on suspicion of fraud in June. »
