Clancy Collins White has been named vp drama development at Warner Bros. Television.

Collins White previously shepherded several of the studio's key drama series while serving as vp current programming since 2004, including Without a Trace, Cold Case and Close to Home.

In her new role, she will spearhead the development of one-hour drama series for the primetime network marketplace, working closely with WBTV-based writer-producers, as well as identifying new talent and creative material for the studio. She will report to WBTV senior vp drama development Susan Rovner.

"Clancy has done an outstanding job for us in current programming, guiding some of our highest-profile series, and we look forward to benefiting from her creative instincts and ideas at the incubation stage," Rovner said.

Before joining WBTV, Collins White was senior vp creative affairs at MGM Worldwide Television Group for almost five years. While at MGM, she developed Dead Like Me and Stargate: Atlantis, among other series.

She also has held executive posts at Paramount Domestic Television and New World Television.
