Picturehouse has acquired North American rights to Gracie, director Davis Guggenheim's follow-up movie to An Inconvenient Truth. The movie stars Elisabeth Shue, Carly Schroeder and Shue's brother, Andrew Shue. Set in 1978 and inspired by the Shue family's real-life events, Gracie centers on a 16-year-old girl, who, after a family tragedy changed her life, fought for and won the right for girls everywhere to play competitive soccer. Andrew Shue, Lemore Syvan of Elevation Filmworks, Elisabeth Shue and Guggenheim, who is Shue's husband, will serve as producers. Graham King is executive producing.
