SAN DIEGO -- The upcoming third installment of the Star Wars prequels was officially christened Saturday at the 35th annual Comic-Con International when Lucasfilm revealed the film's official moniker: Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith. The news came at the end of the Lucasfilm presentation, held at the San Diego Convention Center. The space was packed with 6,500 people when the news was announced that the title for the movie -- to be released in May -- will carry a reference to the evil Sith, sworn enemies of the knightly Jedi. Many in the audience jumped out of their seats, thunderously screaming in joy. Some even gave one another hugs. The news spread like lightning throughout the annual gathering of comic book fans and genre film enthusiasts. It highlighted the fact that, when it comes to promoting fantasy and sci-fi movies, there's nothing better than having thousands of applauding comic book fans. And as a couple of other presentations proved, there's nothing worse than having them complaining.
