Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Prods. has teamed with the stand-up duo of Dana Goodman and Julia Lea Wolov for a comedy series project for the WB Network starring the two Chicago-based comics. The network is close to giving a pilot order to the untitled project from Sandler and Jack Giarraputo's Happy Madison and Sony Pictures Television. The series is described as a modern-day Laverne & Shirley set in Chicago with an Absolutely Fabulous sensibility to it. Tom Brady, who worked with Happy Madison on the Rob Schneider starrers The Animal and The Hot Chick, has penned the script for the buddy comedy and will executive produce.
