Seth Green has joined the cast of Warner Bros. Pictures' Scooby-Doo 2 for director Raja Gosnell. Original cast members Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Linda Cardellini are back on board in the mystery adventure, which begins shooting April 14. Written by James Gunn, the sequel sees Scooby and the gang confront a masked villain plotting to take over the city of Coolsville by wreaking mayhem with a monster machine that creates Mystery Inc.'s classic foes like the Creeper, Captain Cutler and the 10,000-Volt Ghost. Green plays Patrick, the curator of the Coolsonian Museum. Charles Roven and Richard Suckle of Mosaic Media Group are producing the project, which is set for release March 26. Green, repped by UTA and manager Trice Koopman, next appears in Killer Films' Party Monster and Paramount Pictures' The Italian Job.
