Warner Bros. Pictures senior vp production Bob Brassel has been promoted to executive vp production. Projects on Brassel's slate include overseeing the development of Superman, Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, Oliver Stone's Alexander the Great and Constantine, with Keanu Reeves attached to star. "Bob has excellent taste and the ability to get things done," Warner Bros. Pictures president of production Jeff Robinov said. "Filmmakers and talent love working with him, and it's great to have Bob on our team." Brassel began his career at Warners in 1989 as an assistant to Mark Canton, who was then president of production at the studio. He became vp production in 1993 and was named senior vp in 1994. During his first Warners tenure, Brassel was involved with such productions as The Fugitive, Outbreak and Interview With the Vampire. In 1995, Brassel left the studio for a production position at DreamWorks, but he returned in 2001 as a senior vp.
