Actor Jon Voight is amazed he ever made it as a movie star - because he's so tall. The star of Midnight Cowboy and father of Angelina Jolie wanted to be an actor from the age of three but was terrified his height would be a hindrance to his career as all his acting heroes - Lawrence Olivier, Alec Guinness - were definitely on the short side. He says, "The actors that could change themselves were slightly different. They were shorter. They weren't imposingly tall. "They could be any man Olivier, Guinness. So I thought, initially it would be difficult for me." Now that Voight, who has made 18 films in the past five years, has been proved wrong on that point, he's determined he'll be around for a long time yet. He laughs, "I can act until I'm 103. I can find some toothless guy that's needed. I'll fall down the stairs as a toothless guy! I'll be good when I'm old!"
