Cult TV show Buffy The Vampire Slayer has become such a part of contemporary culture its slang vocabulary has now been collected in a new dictionary. Slayer Slang was written by leading American linguist Professor Michael Adams and contains a comprehensive guide to the hip talk spoken by star Sarah Michelle Gellar and her pals. For example, if Buffy was to say, "I'm in a pre-posy with that dollsome Mr. 'I Loved The English Patient'", what she means is, "I'm in the early stages of a relationship with that extremely attractive sensitive man."
