Uma Thurman started smoking again in Cannes because she couldn't handle the pressure of having two films opening there. The Beautiful Girls (1996) star admits she gave up the addictive drug three years ago, but decided to light up again while at the huge film festival. She says, "The pressure, the excitement and the craziness of it all. I'm going to stop when I get home." The actress had two films open at the festival this year, Vatel (2000) and Golden Bowl, The (2000). »
