2 hours ago | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »
A month after revealing he is epileptic, Lil Wayne was hospitalized once again for suffering from a single seizure.
TMZ learned that the rapper was hospitalized on April 30 and brought to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles -- the same hospital where he spent a week back in March for his multiple seizures. Lil Wayne was released early on May 1.
During an interview with radio station Power 106 in late March, Wayne revealed his epileptic past. "The bad news is I'm an epileptic, I'm prone to seizures. Like, this isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures, y'all just never hear about them," he said.
At the time, Weezy said that the seizures occur regularly. "They already know how to handle it. Certain times I don't even go to the hospital, but this time, it was real bad because, like I said, it was three in a row, »

Lindsay Lohan has been busy prepping for rehab, but it remains to be seen if she actually makes it there. The troubled celebrity posted a picture of her apartment to Instagram to show the progress of her packing.
"90 days and 270 looks," she captions the image.
Lohan is slated to begin her court-ordered 90-day rehab sentence on May 2. She is supposed to go to Seafield Center in New York, but TMZ reports that their no-smoking policy might be too much for Lohan. Her lawyers allegedly tried to convince Seafield to make an exception for her and allow her to smoke cigarettes, but they refused. Now she is reportedly trying to see if she can go to rehab at Morningside Recovery in Newport Beach, Calif., but Santa Monica and Los Angeles City Attortneys haven't signed off on the last-minute switch.
When May 2 rolls around, Lohan's lawyer will have to provide proof of »

Jason Collins got some words of wisdom from Lance Bass before his big coming-out announcement yesterday. It turns out that the gay NBA star called the boybander for advice on how to handle the media after coming out of the closet. "I just got off the phone with him and he's been trying to plan this for a very long time, contemplating if he wanted to do this," Bass said on his SiriusXM radio show. "In fact, he said he was going to call me months ago, but he got too scared." Bass, who doesn't know Collins personally, said it was mutual friends who got them in contact with each other. "I gave him some very good advice today, because everyone of course wants to interview him »
Jake Johnson On Nick's 'New' Attitude
39 minutes ago | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »
While New Girl was originally positioned around the "adorkable" Zooey Deschanel, it quickly (and smartly) became an ensemble in season one, boasting a stand-out performance from eventual Emmy-nominee Max Greenfield. And while Greenfield has still been the Schmidt in season two, the writers and fans have rallied around a different actor since September: Jake Johnson.
Thanks, in part, to New Girl positioning the character as a love interest for their central character, Nick has evolved and unfolded with the most significance this season, but the real revelation has been the deep reservoir of comedic talent Johnson had to draw from. There's no doubt that Jake has always been a solid actor, but in creating alternate personas, seeking advice from wise Asians, struggling with anger issues, mourning his father, falling for a stolen trenchcoat, and swooping Jess off her feet, Johnson delivered the year's best comedic performance from a lead actor (something I believe The Emmys will concur »

'Ender's Game': First look at Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rackham
49 minutes ago | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »
"Ender's Game" is set to become the next novel-turned-blockbuster movie. The science fiction film centers around a boy named Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), as he goes through military training, preparing for war against an alien race.
He is trained by none other than Sir Ben Kingsley, in the role of Mazer Rackham. Entertainment Weekly released the first image of the heavily-tattooed Rackham, and spoke with Kingsley about the role. "In the script, which I think is beautifully written, what come across is the authority and mystery," he says says of the character, "There's quite a lot said about him in the story before you see him -- by the recruits and by his fellow officers -- and that's useful as far as preparations."
"Ender's Game" serves as a reunion for Kingsley and Butterfield, who starred together in Martin Scorsese's "Hugo." Other notable stars in the cast include Harrison Ford, »

'A Boy and His Atom': Ibm releases a stop motion movie animated by atoms
56 minutes ago | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »
Ibm has released the world's smallest movie -- literally. By moving atoms around and taking snapshots of them, a team of researchers at Ibm made a minute-long stop motion short film animated only by the movement of atoms.
It shows a boy playing with an atom and, appropriately, is titled "A Boy and His Atom." The project currently holds the Guinness World Record for Smallest Stop Motion film.
"The ability to move single atoms -- the smallest particles of any element in the universe -- is crucial to Ibm's research in the field of atomic memory," the description for the movie reads. "But even nanophysicists need to have a little fun. In that spirit, Ibm researchers used a scanning tunneling microscope to move thousands of carbon monoxide molecules (two atoms stacked on top of each other), all in pursuit of making a movie so small it can be seen only »

Baratunde knows a thing or two about being an entrepreneur. The author and comedian has a history of both successful and failed ventures throughout his career, and it's that exact experience that's helping him as he takes on his latest project.
The How To Be Black author has teamed up with AOL for a web series named "Funded," which will document the success stories of small businesses that were crowdfunded.
"For me, this show is a long time in waiting," Thurston told The Huffington Post. "When you look at what makes these campaigns work, like why do people -- especially strangers -- give money. It's the story. It's the pitch. I think being able to tell this new story of how people are getting their ideas made, that's the future."
Crowdfunding is not a new concept to Thurston, who said he used to pass around a hat for donations during his comedy shows. »

The duo announced the news on their website Wednesday afternoon. They posted an image of the new self-titled album's cover along with a pair of handwritten notes from Joy Williams and John Paul White thanking fans for their patience.

Redskins name change: Washington Redtails proposed for NFL team
1 hour ago | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »
The Washington Redskins of the NFL have had the idea of a name change thrown around before. That discussion is starting again, after the mayor of Washington, D.C. said in January that a change might help to facilitate the team moving back into D.C. city limits.
A Washington, D.C. Council member is planning to propose a resolution to finally change the name, and even offered a new one. Council member David Grosso wants the "derogatory, racist" name gone for good, the Washington Post reports. The team started out in Boston in 1932, playing a season as the Braves, before becoming the Redskins. They moved to Washington, D.C. in 1937.
"It's been a long time that we've had this name associated with Washington, and I think its time we take a stand and change it," Grosso says. The resolution, which Grosso plans to formally introduce soon, includes a plea »

How Is Pierce Brosnan's Rom-Com?
1 hour ago | Huffington Post | See recent Huffington Post news »
The message behind most romantic comedies is the simple-minded sentiment that love is all you need. So when Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier takes that title for a departure from somber drama to romance, you might expect her to deliver it with some serious irony.
Yet in Bier's "Love Is All You Need," it turns out that love really is all you need. And like any old rom-com, it's the just-add-water, instant mush variety of love that springs up between the unlikeliest of partners because, hey, you're in the theater to see a love story.
This is several steps above the usual Hollywood romance, with nice low-key passion between Pierce Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm as prospective in-laws who connect during chaotic preparations for their children's wedding. Bier and regular screenwriting partner Anders Thomas Jensen dress things up with gorgeous postcard images of Sorrento, Italy, lovely music, elegant production design and deeper »

J.J. Abrams has a long working relationship with composer Michael Giacchino, but that will end temporarily when Abrams starts work on "Star Wars: Episode VII." The director has revealed that he expects original "Star Wars" composer John Williams will write the score for the upcoming movie.
"Michael Giacchino is an incredible composer, who I was lucky enough to begin working with on 'Alias,'" Abrams says at a press conference for "Star Trek Into Darkness" in Berlin. "He's truly one of the most influential members of our crew, and I think this ['Star Trek Into Darkness'] score, he really outdid himself. Again, for 'Star Wars,' it's very early days, but I believe that, going forward, John Williams will be doing that film, because he was there long before I was."
Abrams has worked with Giacchino on many of his projects, including "Alias," "Lost," "Star Trek," "Super 8," "Alcatraz," "Fringe" and "Star Trek Into Darkness. »
