As part of his string of bizarre behaviors this year, Justin Bieber got himself a monkey back in March. Because all mega pop stars should have a weird pet, right?
Unfortunately (fortunately?), the monkey was confiscated in Germany because the Biebs didn't have the proper paperwork for the little primate and there Mally the monkey remained while Bieber went on with his European tour.
Now the AP is reporting that Bieber's monkey will remain in Germany because the deadline has expired for when Bieber was to produce the documents that demonstrated the monkey's vaccination records and import papers.
Customs spokesman Thomas Meister says the documentation has not been received and the monkey officially becomes property of Germany on Tuesday (May 21). It is not immediately known where the monkey's permanent home will be. He has been cared for at a Munich animal shelter during this whole affair.

Zach Braff has taken a page out of the "Veronica Mars" playbook and put his next movie project on Kickstarter. "Wish I Was Here" reached its fundraising goal in three days and Braff set about lining up the cast.
Mandy Patinkin has already been announced as the main character's father and now Kate Hudson joins the cast as Braff's on-screen wife. The movie tells the story of a 35-year-old man (Braff) who starts home-schooling his kids when his father stops paying for their private school education.
Anna Kendrick, Josh Gad and Jim Parsons have also signed on.
There are still three days left to donate to the movie's budget, which currently stands at $2.7 million. Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg will produce the movie alongside Braff. »

Country singer Chely Wright and wife Lauren Blitzer-Wright, a music executive, have welcomed two bundles of joy into their home, the couple tells People.
Identical twin sons were born Saturday (May 18) in New York City. Their mommies named them George Samuel and Everett Joseph, after their great-grandfathers. The boys weren't due until July, but it's not unusual for twins to come early. Everyone is healthy and doing fine.
"We are grateful for all the amazing medical care and the love and support of family and friends," says Wright.
Wright and Blitzer met in 2010 after Wright made headlines when she became an openly-gay country singer. The two were married in August 2011.
