Art McAloon was born on 25 June 1938 in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA. Art was a writer, known for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962). Art died on 1 August 1985 in Burbank, California, USA.
A reporter and editor for United Press International from 1963 to 1979, he left that job to become a writer on "The Tonight Show" for several months in 1979. Afterward he joined the Los Angeles Times. His service at UPI included stints as correspondent at the U.N. and NATO, and as manager of the Middle East broadcast section in London.
