The FBI’s raid of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on Monday enraged the former president and his backers throughout conservative media and the Republican Party. It also provided them with an opportunity to prod their supporters for cash.
“Mar-a-lago was Raided,” Trump texted his supporters Tuesday morning, along with a link to a donation page. “The Radical Left is corrupt. Return the power to the people! Will you fight with me? Donate.”

The Secret Service deleted text messages from Jan. 5 and Jan. 6, 2021 after oversight officials requested them, The Intercept reported on Thursday.
The revelation came in a letter obtained by the Jan. 6 committee that was sent by Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General — which oversees the Secret Service — to the House and Senate homeland security committees. The letter notes that the Dhs Ig’s office requested the Secret Service’s electronic communications from Jan. 5 and Jan. 6 before being informed that the communications had been erased. The letter reportedly notes that...

Ginni Thomas, the conservative activist who just so happens to be married to a Supreme Court justice, says she attended the Jan. 6 rally that preceded the riot at the Capitol.
Thomas admitted in a new interview with the Free Beacon that she attended the “Stop the Steal” rally at the Ellipse, noting that she left before President Trump spoke. It was during and after Trump’s address — during which he urged supporters to “fight like hell” and said he expected them to march to the Capitol — that many in the...

Vice President Mike Pence declined to take questions after an hour-plus coronavirus task force briefing, the first in months, as reporters screamed queries at him as he left the lectern.
Jon Karl, ABC News’ chief White House correspondent, stood up in the front row as Pence left and said, “What is going on?” Another person was heard shouting, “You are all undermining the democratic election.”
“Mr. @VP — it’s not a press briefing if you do not take questions. Why the refusal to answer a single question?” Karl later tweeted.
Hunter Walker, White House correspondent for Yahoo News, wrote on Twitter that he “stood up and asked as loudly as I could why the are refusing to work with Biden when lives are at stake. I asked why they’re undermining our democracy. I pointed out every person on stage was complicit. I am sorry I couldn’t get you all answers.

Two Democratic names emerged from the hearings to confirm Brett Kavanaugh as strong voices against the Trump Administration nominee: Senator Kamala Harris (D-ca) and Senator Cory Booker (D-nj). Now, both are laying groundwork in Iowa, looking ahead to a 2020 presidential run.
Booker visited Iowa October 6th-9th and has drawn impressive crowds to his early events thanks in large part to “the extensive groundwork Booker has begun in the state far ahead of many of the other high-profile potential 2020 hopefuls,” Yahoo! News’s Hunter Walker reported.
