Chirag is a film-maker and musician originally from Shimla (Himachal Pradesh, India).
He is born and raised in the Himalayas, and developed a simultaneous interest for Science and Arts in High School, connecting Physics with Audio. He picked up guitars at 17, and was part of few college bands and a solo act. He picked up astrophotography in college, an interest that ultimately got him into DSLR filmmaking around the same time.
He appeared briefly on a tv show about cars on Indian television, and learned much about film units along the way. While on vacation in Australia in 2014, he picked up cinematography to start developing a film about Himachal. In 2015, he became part of TU-Ilmenau (Germany), a university famous for having the professor who "invented the MP3 format". He developed a technical understanding of audiovisual science, while simultaneously creating advertising videos for local clients (such as a video for a EU funded project, among others). He became involved with the development and execution of "Die Brücke" in 2017, and created "Secrets of Himachal" in 2018.
His skills include conceptualising, storyboarding, directing, producing, cinematography, and aerial filmmaking.
