Despite not having actually entered the Capitol building, Shroyer pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of illegally entering a restricted area on Jan. 6 in violation of a deferred prosecution agreement he’d made after disrupting a congressional hearing in 2019.
As part of the 2020 deferment deal, Shroyer had agreed not to engage in “loud, threatening, or abusive language, or to engage in any disorderly or disruptive conduct,...

Twitter has banned InfoWars personality Owen Shroyer for using Twitter and its live-video subsidiary Periscope to promote a rally on Saturday in Austin, TX against the state’s stay-at-home order during Covid-19.

Broadcast and cable networks once again provided coverage of Monday’s impeachment hearing, and there was some drama at the top.
A protester interrupted the proceedings by shouting about the House Judiciary Committee’s chairman, Jerry Nadler.
“We voted for Donald Trump, and they’re simply removing him because they don’t like him,” the protester shouted.
The protester was Owen Shroyer, a host on the right wing conspiracy site InfoWars. Shroyer later posted live video of the incident on his Twitter feed. He accused Democrats of “treason.” “America is done with this,” he shouted.
The interruption came just after Nadler started the hearing, in which the committee is hearing evidence from the Judiciary and Intelligence committee counsels.
This was the first interruption of an impeachment proceeding, which is somewhat surprising given the polarized political environment. Last year’s confirmation hearings of Brett Kavanaugh drew dozens of protesters who shouted...

On War Room, which is aimed at afternoon commuters, host Owen Shroyer uploaded several videos -- with the first titled Breaking! YouTube CEO says ‘Alex Jones’ and ‘Infowars Ban Is Over. -- before the channel was re-banned.. To be clear, Wojcicki never mentioned Jones or InfoWars in her letter. Vice reports that YouTube deleted the channel shortly after its own report went live, meaning that it had not been up for longer than 24 hours.
YouTube said that the War Room channel was able to temporarily return after circumventing its Terms Of Service, but declined to provide any additional details as to how. “We’re committed to preserving...

If you sit in the midst of the continuing battle between the left and the right, the liberals and the conservatives, the Democrats and the Republicans, you’ve likely heard of a lot of YouTubers that have taken advantage of this ongoing struggle since there have been quite a few that have come and gone. Owen Shroyer of Info Wars has been around for a while now and has been spreading the word using his conservative views in a manner that might be called combative by some but completely sensible by others. While he does make some very good points when

Is the day of reckoning for Sandy Hook conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on its way? Two sets of parents whose children were murdered along with 24 others at the school on Dec. 14, 2012 filed defamation lawsuits today against the InfoWars radio broadcaster for his repeated claims over the airwaves that the mass shooting at the elementary school was faked. His broadcast reaches 2.7M people every month and Jones has been perpetuating the myth since 2012.
Neil Heslin, whose six and a half year-old son Jesse was murdered in his Kindergarten class and Lenny Pozner and Veronique De La Rosa, whose son Noah, who had just lost his first tooth before being shot and killed less than a month after his sixth birthday, both filed defamation suits against Jones, InfoWars, Free Speech Systems LLC and reporter Owen Shroyer.
