Anastasia Mirabelle was born in Sarasota and grew up in Miami Beach, Florida. Her mother is a native of Russia and her father was born in Germany; she was raised speaking Russian and German at home and English and Spanish at school.
At six, Anastasia attended Miami City Ballet School Children's Division, to acquire structure in musicality, focus, and expression. Ballet lessons shaped her to develop expression through movement which is also an essential detail in Anastasia's dramaturgical skills.
At twelve years of age, Anastasia began to take vocal lessons which strengthened her ability to use her voice beyond singing. Her vocal coach was impressed with the flexibility and control Anastasia had over her voice. Naturally, Anastasia found herself with the ability to pick up accents and break down the characteristics of an individual's voice with ease.
Anastasia never limited herself to one genre; her ability to easily adapt and her capability to dive deep into her inner self to explore and bring out personalities, combined with a complete change in her outer appearance resulted in her being cast in award-winning films and characters. Simon in 'Sunnyside', Geraldine in 'Geraldine' and 'Jane' in the action flick 'Cazador', starring opposite action star G-Rod (Ozark), are some highlights. In an interview discussing her characters, Anastasia stated: "Acting is a risk built upon trust, with the director and cast members, to create a believable and intriguing motion picture".
The summer before beginning her studies at New York University (NYU) Anastasia was offered a role in the dark comedy feature-length film 'A look in the Rearview'. This movie was the first film she booked outside of the Florida market.
Most recently, Anastasia won best actress at Seattle Film Festival for her role in "Geraldine" and appeared as a guest star on NBC's Law and Order.
These days, Anastasia spends her time between NYC and Miami. Her love for motion pictures continues, both in front of and behind the camera, as she pursues a major in Film and TV with a focus on producing.
On her days off, Anastasia continues to dance practicing Ballroom and International Latin and is working towards combining her love for acting and dancing into a movie.
