West Montez is an African-American actor of Puerto Rican descent who grew up in Brooklyn, New York and Dallas, Texas.
He played 15-year-old, Afro-Puerto Rican teen, "Jamal Romero" in season 6 of the "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off drama, "Station 19" (2023). He plays "Romeo", a young Afro-Latino from New York, in the Tyler Perry produced BET+ series, "Perimeter" (2024), created and directed by Armani Ortiz.
Performing musically on-stage from the age of 5, he started acting in theater when he was 7-years-old.
