Charlotte, North Carolina (USA), May 4 (Ians) American Indians Akshay Bhatia and Sahith Theegala, who have both been knocking on the doors of a maiden PGA Tour win will be in the starry field assembled at the this week’s US20 million dollar Wells Fargo, one of the elevated events on the Tour.
Bhatia, who has got his Special Temporary Membership, is in the field after a fourth place finish at Mexico Open last week. Bhatia, the 21-year-old southpaw, skipped college to turn pro at 18 and has now begun to flower as he cracked the Top-200 of the official World Golf Rankings last week.
After beginning the year with two Top-10s on the Korn Ferry Tour, where he won last year, Bhatia has also finished second in Puerto Rico and fourth in Mexico, two results, which have helped him gain Special Temporary Membership as he continues his quest for a maiden win on the Tour.

Update Sunday Am: Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Masters Sunday morning just before the third round.
The tournament was suspended by bad weather Saturday. Even then, Woods seemed hobbled, the wet grounds making it difficult to walk on his surgically repaired right leg from a 2021 car crash. Woods, 47, barely made the cut for the third round.
“I am disappointed to have to Wd this morning due to reaggravating my plantar fasciitis,” Woods wrote on Twitter today. “Thank you to the fans and to @TheMasters who have shown me so much love and support. Good luck to the players today!”
Earlier: It was close, but five-time Masters champion Tiger Woods made the Masters cut Saturday for the 23rd consecutive time. That ties him with Fred Couples and Gary Player for the tournament’s longest streak.

Augusta, April 9 (Ians) Brooks Koepka added one more birdie to his total to get to 13-under, even as his closest rival, Jon Rahm, slipped from 10-under to nine-under and the lead had swelled to four shots at the 87th Masters.
The play was suspended just as the lead trio approached the seventh green, which itself had a lot of water. That means the lead group, Koepka, Rahm and amateur Sam Bennett will need to play almost 30 holes on Sunday.
Augusta National officials announced that play will resume on Sunday at 8.30 am and the final round with players starting from first and tenth is expected to begin at 12.30 pm.
By the time play was called off, Koepka with a customary birdie on the Par-5 second — his seventh on a Par-5 apart from one eagle — had moved to 13-under, while Rahm, who started the third round at 10-under, picked a shot on...
