Mariya was born on February 3, 1995, in Kazakhstan. From a very young age, Mariya's grandmother, art instructor and artist, from whom Mariya inherited her love for classical artworks, literature and theatre, encouraged Mariya to play in musical theatre. Despite Mariya's diagnosed dyslexia, in 2012, she graduated one of the tops of her class majoring in Algebra, Geometry and Literature, and then moved to Canada to continue her education in Social Sciences and Arts. One of the pivotal points in Mariya's career was her going to Vancouver Film School, where she met her current mentors and film-maker friends. She is known for her artistic works in the internationally screen films Alma and Reconnect. All of her producing works, including the most well known as "City Tech Life" and "How Do We Resist Healthy Marketing?", are capturing the beauty of life and show in a light and humorous way, the controversy and Mariya's deep understanding of the discussed subjects.
