Garth R. Bacon is an award winning national television, documentary and short film producer with over 20 years in the entertainment business. Garth's passion for setting a high standard for all his creative endeavors, have placed him on all sides of the camera as a director, writer, editor, producer and television/ film actor.
As a producer for the Emmy award winning PBS National show "The 90's", Garth opened many shows with his gutsy in your face interviews of people from all walks of life, to his Emmy award winning production of a death row inmate for the 90's series "Prisoners" in 1992.
One of Garth's great loves has been the study, practice and teaching of Martial Arts, of which Garth holds a 5th Dan Masters Black Belt in Okinawan Kempo Karate.
In 1993 Garth's extensive knowledge of Karate, positioned him as color commentator along with Master Louie Reyes, for ESPN's coverage of the USKA Kick Boxing national and international events broadcast world wide.
As a war time video producer, Garth was part of a dynamic team of 7 top notch international producers, sent to cover the Kosovo War in 1999 for television and whose footage showed the tragic side of the attempted ethnic cleansing suffered by the fleeing refugees of that country.
