Natalie Klaus was born in Bern, Switzerland. She studied opera singing at the music high school in Geneva, where she also trained acting with Jean Liermier and Anne-Marie Delbart.
Master classes with Edda Moser, Luisa Castellani, Daleu Duesing, Irwin Gage, Omar Porras and Leonardo Garcia Alarcon inspired her art.
Natalie Klaus made first stage experiences as the first boy in Mozarts Magic flute when she was 18. In Geneva she sang the lead role in "La Dirindina", performed in Orfeo (Luigi Rossi) and in "La descente d'Orphée aux enfers". 2010 she sang and dances (baroque dance) in "La liberazione di Ruggiero dall isola d'Alcina" at the Victoria Hall Genève directed by Gabriel Garrido.
In 2011/12 Natalie Klaus participated in the international opera academy Langenthal. There she performed Papagena, Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro) and Olympia directed by Urs Häberli at the Stadttheater Langenthal.
In 2012 Natalie Klaus created "Oper im Orient", a concert series that merged baroque music with compositions from Egyptian composer Nehad El-Sayed. A new project with him is planed for 2015.
2014 Natalie Klaus returned to Geneva as Cupid in John Blow's "Venus and Adonis"
In 2010 Natalie Klaus got her first part in a short movie ("Reserviert" by Gregor Frei). In 2011 she played the lead role in "Salty Times" a silent short movie that passed as an opening film for "the artist" in all theaters in Switzerland. Ever since she acted in several shorts (including Parvaneh, which is nominated for the Oscars life action short 2015), many commercials and a web series.
Since 2014 acting coach Jo Kelly is an important inspiration for Natalie Klaus for stage and film.
