Lilly Say
Lilly Say born in Woodford Green, Essex in 1996 is the oldest of four girls and an award nominated children's author writing under the pseudonym of Mrs Hilda Poppitt. At the time of her first publication Lilly was still attending senior school and it was decided that the use of a pseudonym would not distract her from her studies and forthcoming A Levels. Her debut novel S.A.S.A.A.T.N (Sugar and Spice And All Things Nice) is a fantastic adventure for four little girls. Lilly was a finalist for The Peoples Book Prize 2014 also nominated for The Beryl Bainbridge Award for First Time Authors.
Since the Daily Mail newspaper broke the story of Lilly being a teenager and not a supposedly old granny she has been flying high with features in American Sweety High Magazine, Girl Talk, endless features in the local press and invited to many celebrity events.
Lilly has put going to University on hold to pursue her writing/media career. Her second novel released October 2014 "Always Believe" is a super Christmas story for those who still believe.
