Freeform has canceled comedian Phoebe Robinson’s comedy series “Everything’s Trash,” Variety has confirmed. The show premiered on July 13 and ran for 10 episodes leading to the Sept. 7 series finale.
Based on Robinson’s 2018 book entitled “Everything’s Trash, But It’s Okay,” the comedy followed 30-something famously outspoken podcaster Phoebe (Robinson), who is said to “make her mark on the culture while living a broke and pleasantly messy life in Brooklyn. After her seemingly perfect older brother declares for public office, she’s then forced to embark on her adulting journey.” Nneka Okafor (“NCIS: New Orleans”), Toccara Cash (“Station 19”), Jordan Carlos (“The Nighly Show with Larry Wilmore”), and Moses Storm (“Arrested Development”) also starred.
In addition to creating and writing the series, Robinson also served as an executive producer alongside Jonathan Groff. Jose Acevedo and Lauren Bans co-executive produced. Laura Gutin executive produced with Chioke Nassor, who also directed an episode.

Model Ireland Basinger-Baldwin will speak out against Canada Goose during its online annual meeting on Friday by calling on the company to stop selling jackets made with coyote fur and down feathers.
Submitting the question on behalf of PETA, Basinger-Baldwin — who recently starred in an anti-fur campaign for the group — writes, “Canada Goose uses fur from coyotes who are often immobilized in steel traps that can cut deep into their flesh, crush their limbs, and cause animals to languish for days before being crudely killed when the trapper finally returns…. Down production is also inherently cruel…. So my question is, when will Canada Goose stop using fur and down?”
PETA has released a video exposé revealing that workers at a Canada Goose down supplier rounded up terrified geese who piled on top of one another in an attempt to escape, causing suffocation and death. Coyotes used for Canada Goose’s...

In order to shine a spotlight on the danger of leaving animals in parked vehicles, chart-topping singer Paulina Rubio stars in a disturbing new video for PETA that shows her slowly succumbing to heatstroke inside a hot car.
The video urges viewers not to let their animal companions endure the same fate.
“The helplessness, fear, and agony that dogs must feel as their bodies shut down inside a sweltering car is hard to imagine,” says Rubio. “My friends at PETA and I are shouting this message from the rooftops: Never leave anybody inside a parked car, and if you happen to see a dog in danger inside a vehicle on a warm day, please do whatever it takes to get him or her to safety.”
Every year, PETA receives reports of dogs who have died as a result of being left alone in a car — even when the windows are...
