Clarissa Bowers is America's Miss World 2017 and represented the United States at Miss World 2017.
Bowers graduated from Umatilla High School in Umatilla, Florida in 2016 and an associates degree from Lake-Sumter State College before transferring to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee to obtain a degree in neuroscience. Raised in a military family, she planed to become a reconstructive surgeon for wounded and scarred soldiers. She has been an ambassador for Healing the Children, an international nonprofit that provided medical support and assistance to children in need due to financial or other circumstances. Bowers participated in the surgeries, medical consultations, and fund raising for the charity. She is a certified maxillofacial surgical assistant.
