- Rush Whitacre (1979 to present) grew up in the small village of Beverly Ohio, 1979 to present. Born to Victor C. Whitacre MD, and Penelope R Warren MD in the year 1979 on February 20th in Marietta Ohio at Marietta Memorial Hospital, delivered by a doctor whose name was 'Doc Holiday'. Rush attended high school at Fort Frye from 1993-97 and then went on to attend college at various institutes from 1997 to 2011 such as Washington State CC, Ohio State, Maryville College TN, Marietta College, and then finishing his BFA at Ohio University, Athens, before going for his MFA at the University of Cincinnati 2011. After graduating from Cincinnati Rush moved to New York where he worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art until receiving word that his father was ill in 2012 and Rush was needed back in Ohio. Since Rush moved back to his home village he has been teaching art at Washington State Community College and helping out the local Indy-film industry with set design, props, and acting in small and sometimes large parts such as the leading male role of Sheriff, Jake Genovise, in the suspense slasher film "The Axeman of Henderson County" which was premiered November 15th 2014.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Rush Whitacre
- His parents were both doctors. While his mother was pregnant with him, she had DNA testing done to see if she was going to have a healthy baby. The test results for the DNA test came back saying that her baby was 100% normal girl. For months Rush's parents told all of their patients, friends, and relatives that they knew they were going to have a girl because of the DNA Test. Fortunately for Rush he was born at the hospital and not at the hands of his father at home because he came into the world a week before his baby-shower as a boy.
