- Australian actress Tahlia Jade Holt was born in Wollongong, New South Wales in 1991 and was raised in Brisbane, Queensland. After graduating from her theatre degree at Queensland University of Technology in 2012, her first break came when she landed her first lead role in the independent Australian horror film 'Milly' the following year. In the wake of this came an increasing number of both supporting and lead roles in short films and community theatre productions, leading to multiple award wins and nominations within the region of South East Queensland. Tahlia's first role in a feature length film came at the end of 2014 in Stephen Simmons' horror film Relived (2017). The following year Tahlia starred in several feature films, including Jason Solari's dramatic thriller Out of the Woods, set for international release in 2019. Directly after wrapping Out of the Woods, Tahlia was given her first taste of Hollywood on set of Marvel Studios' Thor: Ragnarok (2017) which was closely followed by a short stint on Aquaman (2018). Tahlia was then handpicked by producer Angel Christo to star as Olivia Blessing in The Devil May Care Trilogy Part II: Lust (2018), directed by Jonathan Creed, which premiered in August, 2018. Through a connection made on the set of the DMC Trilogy, Tahlia was cast as Sara Martin in supernatural horror film Aiyai: Wrathful Soul (2020). - Tahlia was initially enrolled to study her graduate diploma of education after completing her bachelor of fine arts, enabling her to become a drama teacher. After her first twelve months of study, she unenrolled from the education diploma because acting was her plan A and she didn't want a plan B. Her only option from then on was to succeed as an actress.
- At the 2014 Screen It Film Festival, Tahlia won 'Best Actress' for her role in Australian short film 'Heart of a Thousand Souls'. Her character in the film struggles with aphasia after suffering from a stroke at an early age. Both the Australian Aphasia Association Inc. and the National Stroke Foundation went on to use the film for educational purposes.
- Carlin Sterritt and Tahlia had been friends for years prior to being cast as the lead roles in 'Out of the Woods'. The pair first met in 2013 at the New York Film Academy graduate film screening night on the Gold Coast.
- Tahlia has one younger sister, Maddison Lee Holt. The sisters both made cameo appearances at the ages of four and six in short film 'Vroom' as part of the 1998 Newcastle Shootout Film Festival. The film starred Australian comedienne and TV personality Julia Zemiro.
- Tahlia was in Los Angeles during the first round of auditions for 'Out of the Woods' in Australia. The production company held a special audition for her when she returned to the country during the callback period for the role of Robyn.
