Javier Chacon is a Venezuelan film and music video director and writer. In 2011, he relocated to Los Angeles, California after high school to study and pursue a career in film.
During his time in California, Javier explored the world of the entertainment industry as a volunteer participating in different roles. He did so while working towards earning his Bachelor's Degree in Film & Television Arts from California State University, Northridge which he successfully earned in 2018.
Javier went on to work for LA based company Arenas Entertainment in advertising campaigns for movies such as The Incredibles 2, Sicario, Bad Samaritan, Ferdinand, Blade Runner 2049, Avengers: Infinity War, among others. In 2019, he wrote and directed the award-winning documentary short 'Dream Mountain' about the impoverished children in the second largest ghetto in the world.
He transitioned into professional music videos working with artists in Venezuela, Los Angeles, and Mexico. In 2021, he began to develop his debut feature film in his home country Venezuela, and it's nearing the pre-production stage.
