Was diagnosed with leukemia at the age 14. Her sister Kristina, who was 12 at the time, was luckily deemed a match for a bone marrow transplant. Since she was 15 years old she was told that the high doses of chemotherapy she got to fight her leukemia would cause her to be sterile. After 15 years and countless specialists she accepted the fact she would never have children of her own. She then got pregnant naturally.
