Originally from Maine, Hillary Sproul studied theater at the University of Southern Maine before relocating to New York City to train at William Esper Studio. As an actress, Hillary has written and produced several of her own films. Her short film, Border Line (2023), was nominated for "Best Drama" at the 2023 Atlanta Women's Film Festival.
In addition to acting, Hillary has written for various publications with a focus on cinema. Through her work as a journalist, she has interviewed directors such as Alejandro Jodorowsky, Ruben Östlund and Gaspar Noé. She has also worked extensively as a wardrobe stylist and production designer.
