- British born actor Zaff Malik was born in London. He is known for the Hollywood film David and Goliath (2015) ITV's Ant & Dec Saturday Night Takeaway and the BBC's Twirlywoos" (2015) (TV).
Zaff's love for performing began aged 11yrs whilst at school, where his mime and movement skills impressed upon others during musical theatre performances. He had a desire and longing to one day become a performing artist in some capacity.
But Zaff's early teenage years became somewhat traumatic after the death of his father. Against the odds, Zaff had a burning desire, a dream. He says "I started to believe that you could achieve anything if you really worked hard enough". He used this passion to shape his life in trying to move forward. He went on to conquer his fears. In doing so he got his pilots license and amassed over 170 flight hours in a variety of aircraft as a private pilot.
What goes up, must come down and he fell back in love with acting in the early half of this decade. After enjoying the enriching elixir of actor training in every available hour he had spare, he became the professional as we know him.
He accelerated into short film roles and generated interest from film production companies for TV docu/dramas such as for Discovery and the National Geographic channel. Then recently the BBC and ITV. He is becoming increasingly known for the natural and subtle qualities he portrays in his performances.
On a weekend, you'll find him either (a) spending time with his children, (b) plotting his next aviation adventure at the airfield or (c) carving up the country lanes of your neighboring County, captivating his senses on his motorcycle.
