Rajasthan are coming off a five-run loss to Punjab Kings at this venue which happened a couple of days ago while Delhi are winless after losing their first two matches of Ipl 2023.
After winning the toss, Warner said Manish Pandey, Lalit Yadav and Rovman Powell come in the playing eleven. There’s no Mitchell Marsh as he has flown back home to Perth for his wedding while Aman Khan, Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan are slotted in the substitutes for this game.
“Don’t know what’s gonna happen. Hopefully we will start well. Marsh has gone home to get married. All the best to him,” he said.

New Delhi, Jan 20 (Ians) Fifty-seven players have been released by eight Indian Premier League (Ipl) franchises ahead of the 2021 auction, to be held next month. They include Mumbai Indians' fast bowling great Lasith Malinga, former Rajasthan Royals captain Steve Smith, Chennai Super Kings (Csk) off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, and Kings XI Punjab all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (Rcb) have released the most number of players, 10, though it is noteworthy that among them are wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel, who announced his retirement from all cricket recently, and veteran South Africa fast bowler Dale Steyn, who had opted out of the Ipl in the first week of this month.
Delhi Capitals said in a statement that they have traded all-rounders Harshal Patel and Daniel Sams to Rcb. They are, however, yet to name the players that would possibly come from Rcb as part of the trading window, which is open until about a week before the auction.

Abu Dhabi, Nov 7 (Ians/GloFans) SunRisers Hyderabad (Srh) were not considered title contenders for much of the season but their recent performances indicate that they have found a winning formula, which they would hope will continue working when they face the struggling Delhi Capitals (DC) in the second Qualifier of the Indian Premier League (Ipl) here on Sunday.
DC have been on the wane since their brilliant performances in the first half of the season and go into this match on the back of a heavy 57-run defeat to the Mumbai Indians (Mi) in the first Qualifier.
The David Warner-led Srh were struggling to find the right balance in the first half of the season, having managed just three wins in their first seven games. However, the 'Orange Army' regrouped at the right time and ticked all the boxes to smoothly enter the playoffs.

New Delhi, Nov 5 (Ians) SunRisers Hyderabad pacer Sandeep Sharma's ability to move the new ball has ensured that almost half of his 108 wickets have come in the powerplay in the Indian Premier league (Ipl). The right-armer has scalped Virat Kohli seven times in the Ipl history, a joint record. Not surprisingly, four of those Kohli dismissals have been in powerplay overs.
"The great thing about Sandeep's bowling that I have noticed since his early days is his good wrist position and his ability to swing the ball both ways. That makes it possible for him to trouble the batsmen, and that plays on their minds," said Munish Bali, Sharma's mentor and head coach of Punjab Ranji Trophy team.
Bali was also the assistant coach to Dav Whatmore when India won the 2008 under-19 World Cup, which the Kohli-led Indian team won.

Sharjah, Nov 2 (Ians/GloFans) Placed fifth in the eight-team standings with 12 points, SunRisers Hyderabad (Srh) are just a win away from securing a playoff berth and they will need to dish out something special when they face a rampaging Mumbai Indians (Mi) in the last league match of the Indian Premier League here on Tuesday.
With 18 points, defending champions Mi have ticked all the boxes so far and stopping their juggernaut will definitely be a herculean task for David Warner's team.
Srh must have drawn confidence from their consecutive two wins against Delhi and Bangalore. However, the challenge on Tuesday could possibly be a different once.
Warner, Wriddhiman Saha, Manish Pandey, and Kane Williamson, Srh boast a solid top-order, and they have a power-hitter in the middle-order in the form of all-rounder Jason Holder, who has been pretty decent in both departments of the game -- batting and bowling.

Sharjah, Nov 1 (Ians) SunRisers Hyderabad's (Srh) Shahbaz Nadeem said that he had no plans in place for getting the wicket of Royal Challengers Bangalore (Rcb) and South African batting great Ab de Villiers.
"The plan to bowl to Ab de Villiers is to go with no plan. He plays differently every day so there is no point in planning," Nadeem told his team mate and fellow fast bowler Sandeep Sharma in a video posted on the Ipl website.
de Villiers' wicket triggered a collapse for the Rcb on Saturday with the team going from 71/3 at the start of the 12th over to being limited to 120/7.
"Basically when I dismissed him, he had already hit me for a six in the same over. So I thought of bowling him at the off stump and luckily the ball went flying straight to deep extra cover," he said.
"It was a big wicket for us.

Dubai, Oct 23 (Ians/GloFans) After three consecutive wins, Kings XI Punjab (Kxip) have managed to remain afloat in the Indian Premier League (Ipl). The Kl Rahul-led side will now face a stern test when they take on fifth-placed SunRisers Hyderabad (Srh) in the 43rd contest of the season here on Saturday.
Both Punjab and Hyderabad are on eight points but the David Warner-led team is a spot ahead in the points-table, thanks to their better net run rate.
The two teams now need to win all their remaining games in order to remain in contention for the next round.
Kxip captain Kl Rahul and his opening partner Mayank Agarwal have been in sublime form and the arrival of Chris Gayle has further bolstered their top-order.
However, Glenn Maxwell's consistency remains doubtful as, barring the last game against Delhi Capitals (DC), the Aussie has not been up to the mark.

Dubai, Oct 21 (Ians/GloFans) Rajasthan Royals (Rr) will be looking to keep their playoff hopes alive when they face Sunrisers Hyderabad (Srh) in the 40th match of the Indian Premier League (Ipl) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.
The Steve Smith-led Royals are placed sixth in the standings with eight points and still they have a thin chance of making to the next round. Srh, on the other hand, are a place below them on six points and thus have a four-point gap to bridge.
The Rr top-order failed to fire against Chennai Super Kings (Csk). Their ploy of demoting Jos Buttler to number five, however, worked with the England batsman finishing the match unbeaten on 70 and leading the team to victory.
Ben Stokes, Sanju Samson, and Robin Uthappa need to provide a good start while the onus of converting those lies on the shoulders of Buttler and Smith.

Sharjah, Oct 4 (Ians) Mumbai Indians (Mi) on Sunday coasted to a 34-run win over SunRisers Hyderabad (Srh) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Chasing a target of 209, Srh were limited to 174/7 by Mi's bowling lineup. This is the first time this season that a team has not been able to score more than 200 runs in Sharjah.
Srh kept losing wickets but captain David Warner kept them in the chase for much of the innings. Their pace fell off however after Trent Boult dismissed his New Zealand captain Kane Williamson in the 13th over. Warner soon fell on 60 off 44 balls in the 16th over by which time the required run rate had gone beyond 16 an over for Srh.
It came down to Srh needing 37 to win from the last over in which Pollard gave away just one run.

Sharjah, Oct 4 (Ians) Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma on Sunday won the toss and elected to bat in their Indian Premier League (Ipl) 2020 match against SunRisers Hyderabad at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
"We will bat first. It has been our strength and we will back that. It is a good pitch and the toss doesn't really matter," said Sharma. "The game against Kkr was also a perfect game. We have seen few games here, you have to believe and trust your instincts when you play in grounds like these. We are playing the same team," he added.
Srh have made two changes to their playing XI - Sandeep Sharma comes in place of injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shardul Thakur replaces Khaleel Ahmed.
"Definitely, we would have batted as well. We have seen some high totals here but it also gives a chance to the bowlers to pinch a couple of wickets,...

Dubai, Oct 1 (Ians/GloFans) An off-colour Chennai Super Kings (Csk), coming back after a six-day rest, will hope for a change of luck when they clash with SunRisers Hyderabad (Srh) in an Ipl match between wooden-spooners at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium here on Friday evening.
Both teams are placed at the bottom of the eight-table points table with two points each from three matches. Although there is enough time for the two teams to stage a comeback into the tournament, it is always better to qualify for the play-offs as early as possible - and then try out experiments.
Despite being at the receiving end in their last two games, three-time champions Csk have a reputation of starting the league shakily before making a roaring comeback in the later-half of the league. That goes for all teams, and not just Csk.

Abu Dhabi, Sep 25 (Ians/GloFans) It's a game between two currently bottom-placed teams. Twice champions Kolkata Knight Riders (Kkr) will face 2016 winners SunRisers Hyderabad (Srh) here on Saturday. So far, both have played one match each and lost.
After a dismal show against defending champions Mumbai Indians in their campaign opener, Kkr will face the David Warner-led Srh, who went down to Royal Challengers Bangalore in their tournament opener. Both teams will now be craving for a win to gain confidence.
With the likes of Andre Russell and Eoin Morgan in their middle-order, Kkr have the capability to overhaul any given target. However, the duo failed to capitalise against Mumbai and the Dinesh Karthik-led Kkr ended up on the losing side.
Despite the losses, both the sides are well aware of each other's strengths and will surely not take the contest lightly.
