Randy Blazak
Randy Blazak is a Professor of Sociology at Portland State University
who is known for his research on hate groups. He regularly appears as
an expert on hate groups and hate crimes in national programs,
including The History Channel's Gangland. He earned his PhD from
Atlanta's Emory University in 1995. He published his first novel in
2011, The Mission of the Sacred Heart, based on an Electric Light
Orchestra album. While living in Atlanta he managed a successful rock
band (Drivin' 'N' Cryin') and worked as an extra in films (Voyage of
the Rock Aliens, The Slugger's Wife).
