Chelsea Turner is an Emmy-nominated director and producer based in Vancouver, B.C.
She directed the wildlife documentary series "Island of the Sea Wolves" for Netflix, narrated by Will Arnett, and nominated for seven 2023 Daytime Emmy awards. Chelsea is producing and directing a miniseries about human-wildlife coexistence around the globe, coming to CBC, ARTE and PBS television in 2025. She is also producing a documentary about great white sharks for CBC, coming in 2024.
Chelsea produced and directed the science and nature documentary "Cold" for CBC, which was in the Top 3 most-streamed CBC documentaries of 2021.
Chelsea was the assistant producer of the IMAX feature film "Great Bear Rainforest", narrated by Ryan Reynolds and scored by Hans Zimmer. This critically acclaimed film won Best Youth Film at Jackson Wild 2019 and Best Cinematography at the Giant Screen Cinema Association Awards 2019. Other credits include the CBC series "The Wild Canadian Year", winning best Science / Nature Series at the Canadian Screen Awards, as well as "Spirit Bear Family" and "Wild Canada".
