Exclusive: Well Go USA Entertainment has acquired U.S. rights to Thai martial arts action film Bangkok Dog, with plans to release the film in October this year.
Marking director Chaya Supannarat’s feature film debut, Bangkok Dog stars D.Y. Sao and Brian Le. Sao and Le originally rose to prominence alongside Andy Le through the Martial Club channel on YouTube and have built their careers in stunt work and choreography, with credits in Everything Everywhere All at Once and Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

When Everything Everywhere All At Once burst into the multiverse, it rocked our cinematic world like never before. Not only did Michelle Yeoh become the first Asian woman to win Best Actress at the Academy Awards, Eeaao captured six other Oscars including Best Picture, and both Best Supporting Actor and Actress. Hot on heels of the Eeaao victory lap, Disney+ announced the debut of American Born Chinese, a miniseries based on a celebrated graphic novel created by Gene Luen Yang in 2006. Yang is an executive producer of this television adaptation. His original graphic novel won tons of accolades including the 2007 Eisner Award and Best Comic of the Year from Publishers Weekly, Time, Amazon, and others. A pioneering exploration of the Asian American experience, American Born Chinese is even used as a teaching aid in schools to this day.

The “Everything Everywhere All at Once” cast insisted Brendan Fraser get in on their 2023 SAG Awards fun on Sunday night.
Before taking photographs with their many awards, the group were said to have seen Fraser stood nearby with his trophy looking overwhelmed, so made sure to invite him to join them, the Associated Press reported.
Fraser won Outstanding Male Actor in a Leading Role for his part in “The Whale”.

Evelyn Wang is a Chinese immigrant and the definite head of her family, as much as the boss of the laundromat she operates with her husband Raymond. Despite her non-stop efforts, however, her life is in shambles. Her daughter, Joy, is afraid of revealing that her female friend is actually her girlfriend, and the tension between them is palpable; her father, Gong Gong, who has just arrived in the US, is as judgemental of her as ever, something that actually also dictates her relationship with her own daughter.
