Hugh Jackman Teases 'X-Men' Cameo In 'Wolverine'

26 December 2012 8:55 AM, PST | MTV Splash Page | See recent MTV Splash Page news »

Hugh Jackman isn't the only one making a cameo in a future "X-Men" movie. The "Les Miserables" star has confirmed that we'll be seeing another familiar face in "The Wolverine."

"There is a cameo from one of the past X-Men in it," Jackman told Parade. Though that was as much as he elaborated on the subject, we have a feeling we know who he could be talking about: Famke Janssen.

"But Wolverine killed Jean Grey/Phoenix at the end of 'X-Men: The Last Stand'!" you might say. So he did -- but that doesn't mean she needs to stay dead forever. Rumors of Janssen's cameo appearance first surfaced in October, but we'll have to wait until "The Wolverine" comes out on July 26 to know for sure if she's actually in the film.

As for when "The Wolverine" takes place chronologically, Jackman confirmed what we already know and said »

The international poster for The Wolverine, a film that takes place after X-men: The Last Stand (so we will confusingly have Wolverine in the near future, as well as in the past and the way future in X-men: Days Of Future Past), has been unveiled. 'The Wolverine': Logan surveys Japan in new motion poster

Motion posters: They’re not just for Bob Marley anymore.

Right on the heels of that new Man of Steel trailer comes a new animated poster for 20th Century Fox’s own tentpole superhero movie. The image pictures Logan — a.k.a. The Wolverine himself — crouching on an elaborately designed roof, high above the dizzying lights and colors of modern-day Tokyo. For added drama, he’s clutching a sword — and being pelted by a torrential downpour. Naturally, he didn’t think to wear a shirt in the storm. Here’s the poster:
