Juliana Philippi(II)
- Actress
Juliana Philippi was born in Cleveland, but is and will always be from San Juan, Puerto Rico. She speaks English, Spanish, French and Italian fluently, becoming intrigued and determined to act on the international stage and screen from a very young age. She learned to sing classically as well, and was a member of the San Juan Children's Choir for 11 years, not just singing but also composing, playing instruments and performing on the island and around the world. After finishing her high school and musical training, she moved to New York City to attend NYU, where she graduated with her BFA in Drama from Tisch School of the Arts.
She has traveled all over the world acting in plays, indie feature films, short films, and writing novels and stories, found online. She premiered the leading role of "The Dancer" in Theater in Asylum's "Ole!", at the Theater Under St. Marks in New York City, as well as the Fringe Festivals in Chicago, Rochester, NY and Prague, Czech Republic, under a stage name "Sofia Lund". Her dance training in salsa, tango, ballroom dances, and Flamenco has given her the tools and grace to communicate, and speak, with her form and body, allowing her expression without words, that sometimes, storytelling, is all about.
