Despite a 30% drop in the ratings, CBS chose to renew its Zoo TV show for a third season, rather than cancel it. If you've found in recent years that Zoo has replaced Under the Dome in giving you some thrills and chills in the summer TV season, then you may be pleased to know that CBS has announced that the third season of Zoo will premiere on Thursday, June 29th, at 10:00pm Et.

Press Release: CBS today announced its summer schedule, including the new event series Salvation, the new live-action game show Candy Crush, the third season of Zoo, based on James Patterson’s #1 bestselling novel, and the return of the summer sensation Big Brother.

Big Brother, hosted by Julie Chen, will once again have three weekly episodes.
