Andrew Hook was born in Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. At an early age he moved to Hythe which is located in The New Forest. Andrew stayed in and around the New Forest area until the age of 19 which is when he emigrated to Los Angeles, California.

Andrew started his performing life as a musician, studying guitar and drums while in high school and later taking lessons from professional musicians in Hollywood. Having been a member of a number of bands Andrew decided to enhance his performance skills and started studying acting in 2010.

In 2011 after performing in the role of extra in several projects, Andrew appeared in his first film, Sorrow (2013), starring Eric Martinez. The film was shot in Moab and had a cast of actors with many film credits already attached to their names.

Andrew is continually training in various acting methods and is actively seeking and attending auditions for future projects.
