He has a B.A. in English (Honours) from the University of Victoria, B.C. and a M.A. in English from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the U.K.
Studied standup comedy with David Granirer, comedian and educator and psychotherapist.
He sings and plays harmonica; his English band were the "Sensational" Sleazybeats whose record 'Sharkfishing with the Sleazybeats' was an all-original debut that took its name from Frank Zappa's references to fishing for mudsharks.
