Wes Lagarde is an American born actor and singer. He was born in a
small, Cajun town in southern Louisiana called Cut Off, Louisiana. No
stranger to the spotlight, he has been performing both on stage and off
since he was 5 years old. With performing in his blood (his father, a
musician, and his mother, a dancer) nothing could stop him from
pursuing his dream of entertaining others. He has taken vocal and piano
lessons since Kindergarten and starred in community theater and
musicals (Tom Sawyer the Musical, Snow White in Cajun French: The
Musical).
He began his film-acting career in 2008 by attending Caroline
Wooldridge's Acting for Film class at Belmont University. Also while
living in Nashville, he attained vocal instruction from Anna Maria and
piano instruction at Belmont University. Seeking out bigger
opportunities, Wes moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, to further his
career. He has starred and co-starred in numerous shorts such as
"Jilting Ginny" (Beth Burris, Dir.) and "Better Angels" (Fairfield
Studios).
Most recently, he played the role of one of the Treblemakers ("the guy
with the hat") in the hilarious and widely successful feature film
"Pitch Perfect" starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Brittany Snow
(Jason Moore, Dir.).
