This week, I talk to Lauren Montgomery and Joaquim Dos Santos, the producers of Voltron: Legendary Defender, as well as, Bex Taylor-Klaus and Tyler Labine, the voices of Pidge and Hunk, about the recently released Season 3 of the hit Netflix Original. And if you are a fan of voice acting, Bex & Tyler have some great things to say about that too!
Without spoilers, let me say that Season 3 was so amazing! The characters were really explored more in this season, in regards to what makes them tick and the motives behind what they do. We also had some light shined on the lives of the original Paladins and their relationships, notably King Alfor, Haggar, and Zarkon. The season was only 7 episodes (ughhhh) but it’s worth it because Season 4 releases in October!
Let me know how you feel about Season 3 in the comments!

Alien Day in April may have been filled with Xenomorph-related news, but MTV took center stage by announcing that season 3 of Scream will feature an entirely new cast, story, and setting. While fans of the show are still saying goodbye to the Lakewood survivors from the first two seasons, character details for the series' new group of high schoolers have been revealed.
TVLine has unveiled the details for five characters from the upcoming third season of Scream. While these descriptions are likely a good template of what to expect, don't be surprised if the exact names and all of the details don't translate fully to the screen versions of the characters, as sometimes the casting information isn't 100% used in the final product.

It’s estimated that more than one million people on all seven continents protested Donald Trump at yesterday’s Women’s Marches — and many metrics suggest the total number was much higher. Had she not died late last month, Carrie Fisher likely would have been among them: The actress and writer was a vocal critic of Trump, calling him, among other things, a “classless thug” trying to scare people into voting for him. Many attendees honored Fisher’s legacy by dressing up as Princess Leia during yesterday’s protests.

“I know where she stood. You know where she stood,” tweeted Mark Hamill yesterday. “Such an honor to see her standing with you today. Bigly.” Here are some more photos from those on the ground:

We’ve already heard from a bunch of famous women speaking out against Donald Trump and misogyny/racism/homophobia in general during today’s Women’s March On Washington and at similar events across the country, but one famous woman who didn’t live to see these rallies is still making her presence known. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, one of the big trends among protest signs today was Princess Leia-related imagery, with pictures of the late Carrie Fisher often paired with slogans like “A Woman’s Place Is In The Resistance” or “We Are The Resistance.”

The first full day of Donald Trump‘s presidency began in protest, as hundreds of thousands of people across the globe took to the streets on Saturday to stand in solidarity with women’s rights and against the election of the 70-year-old businessman.
But before they marched, protestors made signs to help spread their message. And their sign game was strong.
Social media was flooded on Saturday with photos of these signs — some humorous, others heartbreaking in the seriousness of their reality.
Most were seen at the Women’s March on Washington, D.C. — where as many as 500,000 people are expected. »
