A full trailer has been released for an extremely awesome looking viking film called Northmen: A Viking Saga. I'm incredibly excited about seeing this movie. I love that the first part of this trailer features an old Viking wrestling down a horse and its rider with his bare hands. The trailer only get more badass from there!

While Jason Statham searches for an appropriate action vehicle in China, one of his former franchises drives on without him. The Transporter Legacy, starring Ed Skrein (pictured), will motor into North American theaters on March 6, 2015, according to Variety. It will be the first release from EuropaCorp USA, a new distribution entity formed earlier this year. Camille Delamarre, who helmed Brick Mansions, the English-language remake of 2004's Banlieue 13, is directing the new installment in the series. Skrein also has roles in the upcoming action flicks Northmen: A Viking Saga and Tiger House, so we'll see if The Transporter Legacy can give his career a boost in a similar manner to how Statham's career was boosted by his lead performance in The Transporter back...

There’s a new Transporter series in production. The picture being made now is called Transporter Legacy and stars Ed Skrein as the character originated by Jason Statham in 2002. Game of Thrones fans will recognize Skrein as the original actor who played the mercenary Daario Naharis in the series’ third season. In fact, this new Transporter series is […]

If the Bourne and Transporter movies are enough to make a trend, “legacy” is the new action-movie code word for reboot.
Variety reports that Luc Besson’s (Lucy, The Fifth Element) EuropaCorp has announced the title for the first installment of a new Transporter trilogy: The Transporter Legacy. The film will star Ed Skrein (pictured above) as a young frank Martin—Jason Statham’s character in the original Transporter movies.

There's a new Transporter film coming out in 2015! It, er, does not have Jason Statham in it...
Amongst the projects on the to-do list for The Statham is not a brand new Transporter movie. However, that doesn't mean there isn't going to be one, as plans are pressing ahead for a new trilogy of films in the series.
The new Transporter movies will form a prequel trilogy (yep, there's a track record of those working out well), and Ed Skrein, best known for Game Of Thrones, is taking the title role. The first movie in the new trilogy, The Transporter Legacy, is set for release on March 6th 2015 in the Us.

First announced at Cannes last year, Luc Besson and his EuropaCorp accomplices are returning to the Transporter franchise with a new trilogy, sadly not this time to feature Jason Statham. Ed Skrein will instead be taking the driving seat in the first of the new movies, directed by Camille Delamarre (Brick Mansions). And with shooting underway as of last month, we now have a title and - for the Us at least - a release date. The Transporter Legacy will be out in the States in March next year, via the newly minted EuropaCorp USA.That moniker seems to be a deliberate and mischievous nod to the Bourne franchise, but also makes no sense: it suggests an inheritor of the Statham mantle, when the film is actually a prequel with Skrein playing the same character, a young Frank Martin. Martin is, you'll recall, the driver who never changes the deal »
The Transporter Legacy has revealed its theatrical release date.
The Transporter Legacy is the first film of a new trilogy for the franchise, and will have a human trafficking plot.
Besson's film company EuropaCorp is producing Transporter Legacy.
(Cbr) EuropaCorp’s "Transporter" pre-boot, "Transporter Legacy," will arrive in North America March 6. Variety reports the first film in EuropaCorp’s planned prequel trilogy will star "Game of Thrones" actor Ed Skrein as “a top driver and mercenary who teams with the leader of a group of deadly assailants to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers.” Skrein plays a younger Frank Martin, who was played by Jason Statham in the previous "Transporter" films. Skrein is best known to American audiences for his turn as Daario Naharis during the third season of "Game of Thrones." He left the series for unknown reasons, and was replaced in the fourth season by actor Michiel Huisman. The new "Transporter" film will be directed by Camille Delamarre and written by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper. »

EuropaCorp’s Transporter trilogy truly marked the arrival of Jason Statham as a bona fide action star, and now the franchise is getting a reboot – albeit without Statham. However, The Transporter Legacy, as the fourth film in the series has recently been titled, may launch a new actor to action stardom.
Ed Skrein, known for playing Daario Naharis on HBO’s hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, will be taking on the role of Frank Martin, who is called The Transporter because he’s the best driver and mercenary money can buy. In The Transporter Legacy, Frank meets Anna (Loan Chabanol), the leader of a group of criminals. The pair team up and attempt to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers who have also kidnapped Frank’s father (to be played by “a prominent thesp”).

The first in the upcoming proposed prequel trilogy to EuropaCorp's "Transporter" franchise has scored a March 6th 2015 release date in the United States.
Entitled "The Transporter Legacy," Camille Delamarre ("Brick Mansions") helms the French underworld-set film in which Frank crosses paths with Anna (Loan Chabanol), a crime boss who decides Frank is the man to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers.
Anna takes Frank's father (Ray Stevenson) as leverage to ensure his cooperation and both of them are forced to work with Anna to bring the villains to justice.

Variety first reported in February that “Game of Thrones” actor Ed Skrein (pictured above) would succeed Jason Statham in the reboot of the “Transporter” franchise. Also starring are Loan Chabanal, Radivoje Bukvic, Gabriella Wright, Anatole Taubman and Tatiana Pajkovic.
The new “Transporter” trilogy is helmed by “Brick Mansion” director Camille Delamarre from a script by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper. Luc Besson’s EuropaCorp is producing with Mark Gao’s Fundamental Films.
The first and second “Transporter” pics, helmed by Louis Leterrier, grossed $43.9 million and $85.1 million worldwide, respectively. The third, directed by Olivier Megaton and handled by Lionsgate, grossed $108.9 million.
The combined budgets totalled less than $95 million.
In the new film, Skrein will play a top driver and mercenary who teams with the leader of a »

Jason Statham might no longer be behind the wheel as the Transporter, but Frank Martin still lives. Statham did his time as the heroic courier in three hit movies, but as he moved away, EuropaCorp has been planning on continuing to use the franchise. And now their plans have kicked in at full force. EuropaCorp has announced that March 16th, 2015 brings The Transporter Legacy to the big screen. The movie is the first in a trilogy and will bring us the early days of Martin leading up to the events of the original movie. It's being directed by Camille Delamarre, who made his debut this spring as the man behind Brick Mansions. Your new Frank Martin appears to be Ed Skrein, who Game Of Thrones fans might recognize as Daario Naharis. Presumably he'll be rocking Frank Martin's trademark bald dome, but here he is on the show in case »

With season 4 not even cold in its grave, we take a spoiler-free look ahead to what Game Of Thrones season 5 has in store…
Warning: contains major spoilers for the season four finale, The Children, but designed to be safe for non A Song Of Ice And Fire readers.
“Season five gives me nightmares”. It may not be the most inspiring quote from Game Of Thrones co-showrunner David Benioff, but as A Song Of Ice And Fire readers will tell you, his fears aren’t unjustified.
Book four of George R.R. Martin’s series - A Feast For Crows, the events of which would ordinarily be adapted for season five - is easily the saga’s least popular volume. Were season five to follow it slavishly, we wouldn’t see fan favourites Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen or Jon Snow back next year as none features in the fourth book. Instead, »

With one of the robbers gravely injured and Kelly the only unknown element in an otherwise meticulously planned heist, it's...
