Wayne Burns, born in Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada's prestigious acting program and continues to act in theatre, film and television.

Wayne made his screen debut in Jason Buxton's multi-award-winning film Blackbird (2012) opposite Connor Jessup and Alex Ozerov. The following year he acted along side the late Cory Monteith in Gia Milani's All the Wrong Reasons (2013).

Wayne is the recipient of 2 Theatre Nova Scotia Awards (2011 & 2012) and was recently nominated for Best Actor in a Short Film for his performance in Jeremy Webb's Bone Deep (2014) at the ACTRA Maritime Awards.

He can be seen regularly as Lykos, Prince of Athens, in the new SyFy original series Olympus (2015) starring Sonita Henry, Graham Shiels, Matt Frewer, Sonya Cassidy and Tom York.

Wayne makes his home in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Graduate of Cobequid Educational Centre, Truro, Nova Scotia.
Wayne is the recipient for the 2011 Theatre Nova Scotia Award which was presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia at the Dal Arts Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Wayne is the recipient of the 2012 Theatre Nova Scotia Award. It was awarded to him by John Grant, the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, at the Governors House in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
