The struggle is real, especially for unfeasibly hot — but not especially tall — folks who’ve been held back from lessons in tooching, booching, smizing and acting the damn fool on national television all because of their height.
No need to break into a rousing chorus of “We Shall Overcome,” however, as Cycle 22 of America’s Next Top Model is now an equal-opportunity humiliator. Short or tall, hearing-impaired or personality-impaired, everyone has a chance to throw him- or herself into a giant foam pit and root around for balls emblazoned with their own names, balls that tell them “You’re one...

The President of the United States is due a certain amount of deference when it comes to television appearances — and everything else, really — but Barack Obama has a habit of inadvertently big-footing his way on the tube. Take, for instance, his impromptu press conference to announce the death of Osama bin Laden: he went live with his speech just as Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice finale was nearing its climax on the east coast. Obviously that was a coincidence, but it’s far from the only time Potus has frustrated the networks.

Hands down, this season of "The Bachelor" (Mondays at 8 p.m. Est on ABC) rivals that random Prince's season as the most boring in franchise history. The Feb. 27 episode didn't even come close to entertaining. I would call it a distant cousin of mediocre. Like Ben's wardrobe, it was two hours of a bland, forgetful ensemble. In order to spare you the mundane details, I fashioned a fun little quiz to help make the recap more interesting.
1. Which article of clothing did you find most attractive on Ben?
The grey t-shirt
The slate Levis
The granite coat
The smoky tie
None of the above. I sometimes miss and definitely prefer Ames' red chinos.
2. At what point in Switzerland did Ben almost throw up?
When the helicopter went straight down the side of a mountain while he was with Nicki on their date.
When he went repelling down the...

Jennifer Love Hewitt wants to clear up the rumors about her so-called date with Ben Flajnik. They may not have won Ashley Hebert 's heart, but "Bachelorette" suitors Ben Flajnik , Constantine Tzortzis , and Ryan "Mickey" McLean did get something out of the show: lasting friendships. The season 7 contestants -- who are all still single -- reunited at Tzortzis' restaurant Giorgio's in Cumming, Georgia to celebrate its 20th anniversary and, of course, dish about the show. TooFab has the exclusive details. TooFab: How do you feel about Ashley after the show? Do you have any contact with her? Constantine: We all respect Ashley. She was put in a very difficult decision and in the end everything worked out for the best. As of now we aren't in contact with her and Jp [her fiance], as they are probably overwhelmed with attention. We do wish them the best and hope they have a wonderful life together. TooFab: How did "The Bachelorette" change you? Was it negative or positive? Constantine...

For an episode subtitled “The Men Tell All,” Sunday night’s installment of The Bachelorette — the fetid (un)appetizer to tonight’s season finale — contained precious little in the way of scintillating intel. We discovered that Ashley suffered a toe cramp while practicing Tai Chi with Ryan in Taiwan (probably because her pants were so tight, she lost circulation to her extremities). We learned that our heroine likes to slather her face with Vaseline right before bedtime. (“You don’t wanna sleep next to me: That’s all I’m saying!” Ashley grinned, continuing her reign of unwitting romantic self-sabotage.

People.com spoke with him exclusively at the recent Men Tell All taping about his sudden exit, his current romantic status, and who has his vote to be the next Bachelor. It was shocking to see one of the final three contenders walk away. What went wrong? You can't really put your finger on one thing.

After being roasted to her face, ridiculed behind her back, led on by the season's villain, walked out on by two men and reduced to tears on too many occasions to count, it was hard to believe The Bachelorette's Ashley Hebert would eventually find her happily ever after. Constantine walked away from the series during his one-on-one date with Ashley in Fiji this week, after realizing that he didn't have strong enough feelings for her to propose. "I respect family and I knew that was something where I respected her enough not to do it. I felt like I wanted to gracefully bow out. My biggest fear was I would look like Bentley or somebody else and I didn't want to do that. I wanted to be as respectful as possible." Ashley intends to make both of her final suitors get down on bended knee to propose! Is that fair?
Ashley Hebert has had a rough season on The Bachelorette, but it’s finally coming to a close. Next Monday is her last final rose ceremony, and by the show’s end, she’ll either be engaged to Ben Flajnik or Jp Rosenbaum. However, she’s decided to put both men through the ringer, and lets them get down on bended knee to propose to her — fully well knowing she can only pick one to wed. Is this completely cruel?
The 24-year-old dental assistant has always prided herself on how she respects the guys and how she doesn’t want to hurt them with her choices. She’s even displayed this by dumping Ryan Park before a rose ceremony in order to save him embarrassment, knowing full well she would never want to be with him.

Ashley basically sets ‘The Bachelorette’ loser up for heartbreak. She knows she’s dumping him, but still lets him almost propose!
Bachelorette Ashley Hebert constantly talks about how she respects the guys and doesn’t want to hurt them. For that exact reasoning, she dumped Ryan Park before a rose ceremony to save him the embarrassment. But Ashley must not respect one of her final two contenders — Ben Flajnik or J.P. Rosenbaum — the same way, because she lets both men actually make it to the final rose ceremony instead of letting one go the day before like former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky did with Chris Lambton the previous season!
“Both guys get full-on down on one knee,” a show insider tells Us magazine. “Viewers will see something from one of the guys you’ve never really seen: anger. There is no friendship with Ashley after that.”

Bachelorette Ashley Hebert has fallen hard for rumored winner J.P. Rosenbaum throughout the season. But if he is in fact the one that Ashley walks away engaged to, there may be problems that lie ahead that could destroy their relationship. J.P.’s not over his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Kerman, a 27-year-old publicist in NYC, yet!

J.P. broke up with Stephanie back in 2008, but it seems that he just hasn’t let go.

The Bachelorette's Ashley Hebert has admitted that she wasn't surprised when Constantine chose to exit the show this week. The restaurant owner walked away from Ashley after telling her that he wasn't at the stage of feeling so head over heels in love that he could propose. Wow, that was one event filled, action packed Bachelorette episode!

True confessions time: Normally, when a special political announcement interrupts my reality TV viewing, I’m all “I don’t need to see that!” But in the case of this week’s edition of The Bachelorette: They’re Just Not That Into Her, I suspect that President Barack Obama and Speaker of the House John Boehner were simply protecting DVR users from having to watch a completely pointless rose ceremony in which our dim heroine pinned her flowers on the lapels of the only two dudes still in the running toward becoming America’s Next Top People Magazine Breakup Cover.

Why even have rose ceremonies anymore? The guys of " The Bachelorette " just keep leaving on their own! Another one bit the dust last night during this season's Fantasy Suite episode, where Ashley Hebert was left in Fiji by former suitor Constantine . While Ash clearly wanted to get Constantine into the Suite, he had other plans in mind -- telling Hebert he has "too much respect for you, for myself, for my family, and ultimately your family also, to do anything but that." He added "I knew if I got to this point and I wasn't in love with you, I wouldn't accept the fantasy suite" -- and so, he didn't. And left the show! Constantine is the third guy to exit the show on his own this season, following Bentley and Mickey. Left standing: Jp and Ben . Hope one of them doesn't leave too! Read more...

We've got Overnight Dates now on "The Bachelorette," which is always an interesting night - and this one is even more interesting than normal.
There's a filler montage recounting each guy she has left. Just in case you're just tuning in or something. Silly. I will not be recapping the recap, thanks.
Ding Dong!
But before any dates, who is at the door? Is it Ryan?! I Knew It. I predicted it would be Ryan! Ok, so this is fun. Silly and contrived "Bachelorette" nonsense, but fun nonetheless. Is Ryan going to be the next Bachelor? I'd be Ok with that.
Anyway, so he is "putting everything on the line" to see if there is "love to be had with this." Interesting - she kicked you out in the middle of a date, dude. But points for effort. So he explains to her how much his ouster blindsided him and...

On this week’s Bachelorette episode, Ashley Hebert will take her final three suitors to Fiji for the first and final overnight dates.
In the video spoiler below, the beauty is seen getting close to Ben F on a luxurious yacht.
The pair are enjoying a sail in the sunshine, when Hebert climbs astride the hunk and begins rubbing oil over his body.
When Ben asks ‘are you ok with this?’ she giggles and replies ‘I am more than ok with this. I take my job very seriously!’
She later tells the camera:
‘He’s looking great, I’m feeling great, it’s like we are on a honeymoon or something!’
It looks like Ben F may have scored, but he shouldn’t count his chickens before they hatch as Ash also gets to enjoy some rather intimate dates with both J.P. and Constantine.

Ashley Hebert, star of The Bachelorette, has admitted that she has forgiven Bentley Williams for his former treatment of her.
Williams became the most talked about contestant on this season of the reality TV show before it even started. Michelle Money, former The Bachelor bachelorette, spoke to her pal Ashley before the show commenced and warned that Bentley was only taking part in a bid to publicise his own business venture.
But she fell for him anyway, until of course she heard that he’d been making crude and derogatory comments about her and he admitted, that he wasn’t in the slightest bit attracted to her.
Bentley chose to leave the series in week three, telling Ashley that he missed his young daughter but admitting to cameras that he had no interest in the brunette beauty.
Speaking on TBS’s Lopez Tonight on Thursday about his betrayal, Ashley said:...

Will Ashley offer the fantasy suite key to Ben, J.P. and/or Constantine — and will they ‘choose to forgo’ (as host Chris Harrison always puts it) their individual rooms to spend the night with Ashley?
Bachelorette Ashley Hebert‘s down to three men — J.P. Rosenbaum, Ben Flajnik and Constantine Tzortzis — after the hometown dates during the July 18 episode. But now the loving is about to get tough for the remaining guys as they head to the most romantic destination yet — Fiji! And Ashley gets to decide which men, if any, she wants to invite to spend the night with her in the fantasy suite at the Namale Resort & Spa. Will she pick all three or maybe none at all?
According to RealitySteve.com, Constantine doesn’t make it to the overnight date. He supposedly eliminates himself way before Ashley offers him the fantasy suite key. Based on speculation, it could...

Ashley wasn’t nervous to meet J.P.’s parents — and she even told his mom that she’s ‘smitten!’ Aww!
As this season of The Bachelorette continues, it’s becoming more and more obvious that Ashley Hebert is falling head over heels for J.P. Rosenbaum. It’s seems like the rumors that he wins her final rose may just turn out to be true. And during the July 18 episode, Ashley finally met J.P.’s family — clicking with them better than she did with either Constantine Tzortzis or Ben Flajnik‘s relatives!
There’s no denying that there’s chemistry between Ashley and J.P. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the roller-skating part of their date. And when they did come up for air between make out sessions, all they did was smile and giggle! It was getting borderline nauseating.

It’s super hard to meet your possible future mother-in-law for the first time because you never know how she’s going to react to you. But Ben’s sister and mom were totally different from what Ashley expected. “I was so surprised to see that they were quite the opposite,” she fesses. “They were sophisticated and conservative.

I suspect it was no accident that this week’s episode of The Bachelorette began with our dim heroine Ashley returning home to her Philadelphia apartment and a solitary coffee mug. After all, isn’t the overarching theme of ABC’s reality-dating franchise that any individual left partnerless by season’s end will eventually die alone in a La-z-Boy recliner, a pack of cats feasting on his or her rigor-mortised hand?
Yes, people, sometimes a mug isn’t just a mug. Sometimes it represents the endless horizon of pain and regret stretching out in front of our star-crossed players, a horizon that asks questions including,...

The travel we've been fortunate enough to experience along this journey on The Bachelorette has been incredible. I've loved learning about new cultures, seeing locations I've only seen in books or magazines, and getting to fall in love in some of the most romantic locations in the world. Even though we weren't heading to see my family, knowing I was about to meet the families of the guys I had grown so close to was incredibly exciting. While traveling back to the States,...

Last night Herbert was seen visiting the hometowns and families of her potential love matches and during a visit to Brown’s homeland of Pennsylvaniashe met up with his sister, mum, in-laws and beloved nieces and nephews. In his personal blog, Chris reveals why Ashley had to say goodbye to Ames: she just wasn’t connecting with him like she was with the other guys!
During the July 18 episode of The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert said goodbye to Ames Brown after visiting his family in Chadds Ford, Penn. As host Chris Harrison puts in in his personal Entertainment Weekly blog, Ashley just wasn’t feeling it with Ames. Despite trying to find a connection with him, Ashley ended up having to admit that their relationship was going nowhere!
“After the four hometowns with four good men I think it was clear that Ashley really has a solid relationship building with Ben [Flajnik], J.P. [Rosenbaum] and Constantine [Tzortzis],” writes Chris. “Ames was just too far behind and Ashley felt more of a friendship than a budding romance with him.”
Ames had one last shot to change his relationship with Ashley, but he blew it.

Family visits on The Bachelorette can be a real heartbreaker. For the four guys who welcomed Ashley Hebert onto their home turf in Monday's episode, introducing her to their moms and becoming supervulnerable was only half the fun! Sure, Ames made time stand still under a magnolia tree, Ben poured wine straight from his own vineyard, J.P. took her for a whirl around the rink and Constantine's family was ready to make her into an honorary Greek, but which picture-perfect days would stand out in Ashley's mind when it came time to give one of these increasingly charming guys the heave-ho?
