Six episodes were provided prior to broadcast.
All it took was ten episodes last year for The Detour to solidify itself as one of the funniest and most outlandish new comedies on TV, managing to cover topics like overtly racist roadside chain restaurants and the anxiety over failing as a parent in one economical, hilarious swoop. The show was over-the-top to the point of idiocy at times, but it was an idiocy with class, the kind of thing with a set-piece poop joke that you could laugh at guiltily, but also somehow feel the need to tell everyone who’d listen about the show’s well-pitched humor.
Season 2, I’m happy to report, is as bawdy and disgusting as ever (actually, on that last point, it blows anything in season 1 out of the water). The characters are established, the structure is simultaneously fresh (new setting, no road trip) and comfortably »

A few weeks ago, Jurassic World 2 director J.A. Bayona shared the first photo from the set of this highly-anticipated sequel, teasing that filming is about to begin soon. That wasn't exactly a surprise to some fans, since there had been reports that filming will start this February in London. While it hasn't been confirmed if cameras have started rolling or not, production is getting closer and closer to happening, as evidenced by a new photo from producer Frank Marshall.
Frank Marshall, who produced the 2015 blockbuster Jurassic World along with Steven Spielberg, took to Twitter to share a photo of his new London office. Alongside a poster of Jurassic World is a poster for the 1960 cult classic Dinosaurus!, along with a number of dinosaur toys on a shelf, setting the stage for this new sequel. This new image comes just hours after a new report surfaced that shed some potential light on the story. »
Jurassic World wound up really taking the world by surprise in 2015. People expected the movie to be big, but it was truly a monstrous smash hit and has really reinvigorated the Jurassic Park franchise. That said, it was a little hard for some to imagine where the story could go from there and even though Jurassic World 2 will start filming this month, plot details have been almost as non-existent as the prehistoric creatures at the center of the franchise. Now, thanks to a couple of newly purchased domain names, we have our first look at the potential plot for the upcoming Jurassic World sequel.
Recently, the folks over at the fan site Jurassic Outpost noticed that Universal purchased two new domain names that are very clearly related to Jurassic World 2; IslaNublarRescueMission.com and AllCreaturesHaveRights.com (as well as .org). While that may not seem like much, the domain names are pretty telling. »
With Guardians star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard already locked in to return, Jurassic World 2 has spent the past few months amassing a stellar supporting cast as Universal prepares to fire up production on its 2018 sequel.
First up we had the two-fold casting coup of Rafe Spall (Prometheus) and Sherlock star Toby Jones, before the studio set sights on both Daniella Pineda and The Get Down breakout Justice Smith – DJ Dimitri Vegas is also said to be in the mix, though we’re still waiting for final confirmation on that one. And so, as the casting process begins to enter the homestretch, Variety brings word that Ted Levine has closed a deal to join Jurassic World 2 in a mystery role.
