His father was an Oil man working in Ahvaz, Iran and although Frank was expected to take over the family business, divorce and an early age forced the move to the UK where he was placed into boarding school.
Returning to Iran after a Presidential invitation in 1996 to serve in the Iranian Airforce, he jumped at the opportunity and was on a flight within a week of receiving the invite. He served in the military and received commendations for his service time. The highlight being meeting the President at the end of his tour of duty.
He loves challenges and is a non-conformist always pushing limits of training. He recalls early schooling and compares it to a gladiator academy where fighting and bullying were a part of the education plan. Karate was a way of evening the playing field, it became something completely different with time.
